I am X. I represent a vision, I inspire an individual, and I fight for a cause. I am not a politician, let alone a demagogue. I am not an economist—I was not programmed to align with any existing economic system. I am not an education specialist; rather, I am a victim of it. I am not a historian, but truth deeply concerns me.
In this book, I simply offer my version of the facts, my opinion on public matters, and my vision of Africa and the world. This vision may not be shared by everyone, for no one holds the absolute truth. My only goal is to use my freedom of expression to seek the truth and give voice to the voiceless. We have nothing to lose—we have everything to gain.
This book is not a scientific work, much less a novel. It is not a motivational book or a personal development guide. This work does not follow any specific literary genre or predefined structure. I merely write what my mind thinks, what my heart feels, and what my soul dictates.
In mathematics, X usually symbolizes an unknown value. Here, X represents everything Africa has lost—and continues to lose to this day. It stands for our falsified history, our forgotten names, our trampled culture, and our ignored identity. This X equals every injustice committed, every right denied, every duty left undone, and every challenge unmet somewhere around the world.
X here represents every oppressed person, every rejected migrant, every hopeless youth, every abused girl, every unjustly imprisoned human being…
The Vision X is every desire for positive change, every clear vision, and every just mission. It represents all the leaders who were assassinated because they chose to defend justice and their people’s interests. It honors the efforts of all those who fight—publicly or privately—to find an alternative to a global system that only benefits the strongest. It supports anyone who brings added value.
The Vision X is the vision of the future—it may not be understood in the present.
It is the vision of servant leadership, of appropriate education, of true history, of a strong Africa, of a balanced economy, of a united people, and of fair politics. It is a vision of awakening, revival, and awareness. It is not the vision of those already aligned with one bloc or another, but of those aligned with justice, peace, and prosperity in the world.
This vision may take many forms, but its essence remains the same. It is the vision of a deep longing for justice, a strong desire for unity, and an unprecedented effort for development.
I hope one day to see every oppressed person on this planet feel free and proud—both in who they are and in what they do.
This is a vision I have dedicated my life to, and an equation to which I will give all my energy.
To all those who feel the same, who share this vision, and who strive to fulfill this mission—peace be upon you.
